About Qalam Media Group
An independent media group: seven specialist publications, a newsroom of editors and video producers, and the software they publish with.
Who we are
Qalam Media Group is a media publisher. It began in 2010 with a single technology publication, Zoomit, and grew into a group of seven editorially independent titles, each covering one subject in depth for a Persian-speaking readership.
We are a publisher, not an agency and not a platform. Everything under our name is written, filmed and edited by our own staff. We do not host user-generated content, we do not operate a social network, and we do not resell anyone else's audience.
Our publications
Seven titles, each with its own newsroom and its own editorial line:
- Zoomit — Technology news, product reviews and buying guides, since 2010.
- Zoomg — Gaming and entertainment: reviews, video and event coverage.
- Kojaro — Travel: destination guides, hotels and trip planning.
- Pedal — Automotive: market news, reviews and industry analysis.
- Zoomon — Economics: markets, money and everyday finance, plainly explained.
- Filmzi — Film and television: reviews, news and festival coverage.
- Zoobin — Buying guides and price comparison, from shortlist to checkout.
Together they reached about 33,000,000 monthly active visitors and 79,000,000 pageviews in September 2026, the most recent period we have measured. Alongside the sites we run a video studio, and our editors publish to the group's own accounts on YouTube, Instagram, Telegram and Aparat.
How we pay for it
Advertising and sponsored content, sold by us directly to brands. Sponsored material is labelled as such wherever it appears. Advertisers have no say in our editorial coverage, and no advertiser has ever been given the ability to review, approve or withdraw an article before publication.
Our own software
We build the tools our newsroom works in rather than buying them. Forge, the group's publishing and editorial platform, has been developed in-house since 2021 and is used only by our own staff, with no public sign-up. Part of it manages the group's own social-media accounts: scheduling video to them, and helping editors answer the questions readers send those accounts as comments and direct messages. It acts only on accounts this group owns, always through the official APIs of the platform in question, and only after the account's own administrator has granted access through that platform's standard consent screen.
How that data is handled is set out in our Privacy Policy, and the terms it is provided under in our Terms of Service.
